  5. 計畫案及研究助理經費:研究室計畫案數量有限,較無法定期提供研究生相關經費。

  1. Research areas and directions: Please refer to relevant research projects and publications.

  2. Research methods: Please refer to relevant research projects and publications. At present, most advisees primarily adopt qualitative research methods.

  3. Thesis topics: In most cases, topics are determined through discussion between the advisees and the supervisor; a small number are related to funded research projects.

  4. Supervision and meeting arrangements: In principle, two meetings are held each week: one for progress reports (second-year advisees present thesis progress; first-year advisees present paper reports), and one group meeting for collective discussion of current issues and news related to transport and mobility.

  5. Funded projects and research assistantships: The lab has limited funding, so it is difficult to provide regular financial support or research assistantships to advisees.

  6. Main lab expectations: advisees are expected to be present in the lab during periods when most other advisees are also present, to avoid significant scheduling differences that may reduce interaction and negatively affect the lab environment.

  7. Graduation requirements: Advisees must pass all departmental examinations and fulfil the programme’s graduation requirements. The expected time to graduation is similar to that of most students in the department.

  8. Career paths of former advisees: Public sector roles in transport and mobility, planning and consulting firms, intelligent transport industries, logistics companies, and high-tech industries.

Prospective postgraduate students who are interested in an interview are welcome to share their observations and ideas on transport and mobility.
